Reinstalling Office doesn’t delete documents stored on you Mac, so I think you can save changes you made, or you can copy contents in other places microsoft word all options greyed out. When a document is protected you can not put the selection into any protected area. It will jump back to a legitimate point. If the entire document is protected it will always jump back to the start of the document. Selecting commands eg Select All are greyed out.

Most of the menu options are greyed out for example Select All and when I ever I click anywhere in the document it takes me back to the top of the first page. I have checked it is not read only and that users have permission to edit but this doesn’t appear to be the problem. Any ideas???
